iPhone Insurance update

The iPhone insurance at http://www.2u.co.uk/iPhoneInsurance/ has dropped in price. It used to be £7.99 a month - and now it is £5.88 a month - which is quite a big drop.

The policy is exactly the same as before ...
* Loss
* Water Damage
* Accidental Damage
* Theft
* International cover
* Extended warranty

and the usual covers - it is just cheaper now.

There is also no 12 month contract - you can benefit from it for as long as you pay for it. Simple as that. And given that your iPhonee is probably one of theh most expensive phones you've ever purchased, you'll probably want to keep it protected. I know I do!

  • Brett,

    Yes, you can cancel you current insurance and insure it with 2u, subject to the Terms outlines there.

    The details are at the link below but the main points are that your item must be less than 6 months old, have been purchased in the UK and that you have a valid proof of purchase (receipt or contract proof).

    You can order at

  • FYI - If you are paying your current provider by Direct Debit, often the easiest way to cancel the payment is to simply cancell the Direct Debit with your bank - either call them, go in to the branch or do it online.
